Welcome to St Mary's Practice, Osteopathy and Complementary Healthcare. We are located in Bungay on the Suffolk-Norfolk border close to the A143 & A146 and have ample parking, making it convenient for anyone living in the surrounding area.
St Mary's Practice has been an established part of the community for over 30 years, so after taking over from the previous owner 13 years ago, it was essential to my wife Lesley and I to present the business as a professional and friendly environment where patients can receive treatment.
We aim to provide you with the highest standard of healthcare, offering a holistic approach to treatment, management, and prevention of injury and ill-health.
Our team of Complementary Therapists are committed to expanding their knowledge and skills to treat, advise, and offer guidance to help patients stay fit and well
In most cases, patients approach us for treatment from a single practitioner or discipline, but condition depending, a team approach from two or three disciplines may be highly beneficial. Complementary therapies that bring about relaxation will always help with osteopathic treatment, so working with a reflexologist or massage therapist is worth considering.
Alternately, someone with a foot condition might have their primary treatment with our foot care specialist but find that the way they move has been so affected that osteopathic or massage treatment is required.
Other treatments include homeopathy, used by millions worldwide as a primary or supportive treatment for injuries and various acute or chronic conditions, both physical and emotional/mental.
Hypnotherapy, a safe and natural treatment that can help to change habits, end anxiety, phobias and trauma, lift depression and stop smoking, plus many more life issues.
We also have weekly hearing care clinics by trained Audiologists to assess hearing and offer wax removal services.
The compound effect of more than one treatment "modality" really has to be experienced to be believed. With a wide variety of complementary therapies available, St Mary's Practice offers complete whole-body or tip to toe alternative healthcare for you and your family.
All our practitioners are fully qualified and insured by their respective governing associations. Patients can feel safe and confident in whatever treatment they choose here.
We hope you have kept safe and well during these challenging times. Our status as Health Professionals, and our high level of hygiene protocols conditions us to remain wearing PPE with continued hand hygiene, so we can continue to treat, which we trust will provide patient confidence moving forward. We believe we must continue with safety and consideration at all times.
You will be asked to wear a mask if you are able to do so, and wash hands upon arrival. There is anti bacterial gel on reception for use after treatment and payment.
